“Look deep into nature, and then you will know everything better.” -Albert Einstein
Often, the common language of art and nature is able to connect people of various ages, faiths and cultural backgrounds.
We all want to feel connected to others, to the world around us, and to something bigger than ourselves.
Join us for a relaxing, healing, creative half-day retreat at the peaceful sanctuary of Highland Lake Cove. Let your stress melt away as you come down the gravel road and enter this beautiful natural, forest setting. This retreat will consist of a series of guided art experiences designed to help you re-connect with yourself, with nature, and with others.
Our art will be inspired by and include elements from the natural setting around us. You will leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, revitalized, and nurtured. Be prepared to trust the mess, share with others, and explore your creativity.
You’re also invited to bring your lunch and explore the grounds of The Cove after the retreat, following trails and pathways into a variety of wooded areas, pausing along the way for opportunities to rest, reflect and relax.
