“Paint, Collage, & Found Objects" Workshop

We challenge you to explore found object art! Go for a walk or look around your home. Find something you would probably toss into the garbage or recycle, bring it to Art Mob, and use it in your art! Using creativity (and various adhesives), art therapist and mixed-media artist, Kara Ashley-Gilmore, will show you  ways to incorporate natural materials, found objects, and other uncommon items into your mixed media art. We’ll play with layers, as we add collage, texture, and imagery to create a unified painting. Let’s get messy, have fun, ditch the rules, and experiment with lots of materials to achieve a unique work of art. No art experience required. Bring found objects to work with.
